When I was a young teenager I had plugged in my families camcorder to the TV. After about 15 minutes of goofing around seeing myself on screen I had pointed the camera at the television screen. I was amazed and thought this was the coolest thing since Lawn Mower Man (1992) and Beyond the Mind’s Eye (1992). Little did I know that many years later this accident would become part of my visual routine.
In 2001 I was introduced to the Amiga 2000 for the first time. The Amiga 1000 was released in 1985. The Amiga 2000 and the Amiga 500 were both released in 1987. This review will not spend time going over the entire history of the Amiga, but if you like you can visit this site for a detailed summary. For this article I will limit the scope to what this machine has meant to me as a VJ.
Here are the details that I am most interested in as a VJ of the 21 century (in no particular order):
Pros:
